OUR IMPACT
We believe every woman deserves to create her own future.
We elevate women globally through resources, education, support, and opportunities that provide purpose, connection, and impact.
As a social enterprise, we donate 10% of our fees to nonprofit initiatives and create impact opportunities for women to give their time, knowledge, and support to other women and girls across the globe.
Élanoura x Project Soar
Morocco 2022
When a girl cannot access period products, she misses days of school. Those missed days become chapters, and chapters become the difference between staying in school and being married off as a child. This begins with something as small as a sanitary product.
VOLUNTEER ACTIVITY
Élanoura spent a morning at Project Soar’s founding site in Douar Laadam, outside Marrakech. With College Moxie founder Lizz Clark, the cohort led an “Empowerment Word” bracelet activity — each participant chose a power word and beaded it in English or Arabic. We worked across alphabets we did not share, helping each other place words like “kind,” “loving,” and “strong” into every bracelet in two languages at once.
IMPACT MADE
In order to provide enduring impact long after we returned home, we made a collective donation of $3208 USD towards Project Soar’s Stop Period Poverty campaign to provide a menstrual solution that will keep 255 girls in school for three years helping to end child marriage.
Project Soar will provide sustainable period supplies to teen girls across Morocco. Having access to period products allows girls to stay in school, leading to reduced child marriage and teen pregnancy. With support of this project, Project Soar can provide eco-friendly, shame free, hygienic period supplies to 600+ teen girls each year. We do not use reusable pads but sanitary, healthy period underwear that can be completely cleaned, doesn’t stain & doesn’t embarrass girls when hung to dry.

Élanoura x Project Soar
Morocco 2023
We returned to Project Soar in 2023, this time with a new activity, a new cohort, and a new campaign to support. The girls at Douar Laadam are growing up in a country where 1 in 7 of them will be married before turning 18. Every year Élanoura returns, we bring something different to the room and leave something enduring behind.
VOLUNTEER ACTIVITY
With Marisa Perry Atelier founder Marisa Perry, we put together a “This is Me” art board activity. Each participant wrote her name in English or Arabic on a painted canvas board, then passed it around to her peers who added words to describe her. The boards traveled the room and came back full. Each girl personalized her board with stickers and pens, then they were each given an easel to take home to display their board.
“Probably the most memorable for me will be meeting all the young girls from Project Soar. It is an incredible organization, and it really provides the platform to give young women a choice about their future.”
— Marisa Perry
IMPACT MADE
In order to provide enduring impact long after we returned home, we made a collective donation of $2304 USD towards Project Soar’s Empower Syria’s At-Risk Teen Girls campaign to provide emergency relief supplies and support.
Having faced war + trauma, internally displaced Syrian teen girls are at high risk of gender-based violence + child marriage. Project Soar empowers these girls to understand their Value, Voice, Body, Rights + Path using our 25-workshop award-winning teen girl curriculum. With your help, Project Soar will help displaced Syrian girls to speak up, advocate for their rights + set future goals.

Élanoura x Fundación IRES
Spain 2023
When a woman leaves violence, surviving is only the start. The harder work is rebuilding; stable housing, financial independence, social support, and the slow effort of being in a room again where her presence is welcomed. Fundació IRES has been doing that work across Catalonia and the Balearic Islands for more than fifty years.
VOLUNTEER ACTIVITY
We spent the afternoon with fifteen women survivors of violence at a Fundació IRES site in Mallorca.
Artist Alex Cole led an art therapy workshop and photographer Katee Grace gave each of the fifteen women a personal portrait, gifts that many of them had never received before.
Through this activity and through one-and-one contact with the women business owners of the Élanoura Collective, we hope to inspire and empower each other, as well as share our own stories of challenge and resilience.
“I’ve been an artist for 25 years, and I think this moment might be the best I’ve ever had.”
— Alex Cole
IMPACT MADE
The cohort gave a collective donation of a $2,206 to support Fundació IRES’s ongoing programs. Ten percent of retreat fees also went directly to the foundation. Their work walks alongside women, families, and children survivors of violence, providing psychological support, counseling, housing, and family programs across the region.

Élanoura x ANKAA Project &
Yoga and Sport with Refugees
Greece 2024
Refugee women arrive in Greece with skills, education, and lives they had built before displacement. What they lose, often permanently, is access. To language, to networks, to the small daily privileges that turn skill into work. Our Greece retreat included two volunteer days, each with a different partner, each addressing a different part of that gap.
DAY 1 — ANKAA PROJECT
We started with lunch from Saffron Kitchen Project, then spent the afternoon in a small business mentoring session. Translators moving between Arabic, French, Greek, and English, working through pricing, positioning, and what it feels like to start something on your own.
The afternoon ended with a sewing class led by the ANKAA women, where we learned to work with their materials. We left with new skills and one of their upcycled bags, made from the lifeboats that brought refugees to Europe.
Impact: After the retreat, the partnership kept going. Erika returned to do brand consulting for ANKAA a full redesign of ankaaproject.org.

DAY 2 — Yoga & Sport with Refugees
Yoga & Sport with Refugees provides free fitness, yoga, and sport programming to refugees in Athens. About 100 refugees use their gym every day. We started the morning with a women’s circle, where the YSR team, the women they work with, and our cohort all shared stories.
Then Bri Gainz led a Zumba class, and by the second song, the room was full of women dancing in five accents, sweating, laughing, and forgetting whatever any of us had walked in carrying.
Impact: The cohort’s contribution funded new gym equipment for YSR’s women’s bodybuilding area.
